Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), who choose to get assessed and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), a government agency in India are building the institute’s reputation by providing quality education.
The Importance and Advantages of NAAC Accreditation
Its purpose is to evaluate the quality performance of any institute. The advantages of accreditation are numerous. By guaranteeing that the educational Programmes provided have acquired a particular level that meets or exceeds the requirements that were created by experts in the field, it safeguards the interests of students, their parents, the institutions themselves, and employers. There are further advantages. During the process, the institution learns about its advantages, threats, and opportunities; areas for planning and resource allocation are determined; and several funding organizations open their doors to provide performance-based funding for such institutions. PQSmitra provides guidance and Consultancy for educational institutions, including Universities, Autonomous Colleges, Affiliated Colleges, Teacher Education Institutions, and Physical Education Institutions, for obtaining the NAAC Accreditation.
Universities are also ineligible for UGC grants and other financial aid if they lack NAAC certification. Additionally, students from non-accredited institutions could not be eligible for scholarships or tuition assistance from businesses, local government agencies, etc. The institute’s quality in terms of instruction, research, facilities, teaching & learning, placement, etc. is determined by NAAC
