Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced 2025
1. JEE Main 2025 Performance
Candidates must be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates in the B.E./B.Tech. paper of JEE Main 2025.

- General Category: Born on or after October 1, 2000
- SC/ST/PwD: Born on or after October 1, 1995 (5-year relaxation)
3. Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed Class XII (or equivalent) in either 2024 or 2025 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
4. Number of Attempts
- Maximum of two attempts in two consecutive years
- Candidates who withdrew between November 5–18, 2024, are eligible for a third attempt as per a Supreme Court directive
5. Prior IIT Admission
Candidates who have been admitted to any IIT, even for one day, are not eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2025.
